Story
If you reduce the vast ages a Caelum experiences to one-tenth, they nearly equal the span an Elf can walk through in a lifetime. Reduce them further to one-fifth, and they become the years a Dwarf may live, still an expanse that easily stretches across centuries. Only humans are different. Their lives are like morning dew clinging to a leaf, quietly vanishing before the first light of dawn touches it. Like a shooting star streaking across the sky, gone to silence before there is time to make a wish. Precisely because mortal lives are so brief, every moment spent with them becomes all the more precious. The longer Raphael remains by that person's side, the more deeply she understands this truth. So it is only natural for her to long to draw closer in both body and soul, to slip into that person's clothes, to seek a trace of calm and warmth in the lingering scent, and to pursue that subtle yet certain happiness. "You think this is too slouchy for me? Commander, this side of me is meant for you alone."
