Hero Guide – Takanashi Mai

Takanashi Mai is a notorious Izumo serial killer. A hundred or so men have died under her blade. She herself is the Menkyo Kaiden of the Syuen dual wielding technique. As the skilled practitioner of the art, her swordsmanship is powerful and unmatched. She became a serial killer a few years ago due to her younger sister killing herself out of the overwhelming humiliation of men taking turns abusing her. Mai initially hoped the judicial system would bring her sister justice, but with ties to the judge, the perpetrators got off lightly. As such, Mai had no choice but to take matters into her own hands. From then on, she wandered alone, dealing cruel punishment to any man who've betrayed, played, abused or tricked women. After slaying countless scums, Takanashi Mai was finally caught. According to the law, she was sentenced to death, but the pleas of the women she saved were enough to have her sent to the battlefield instead. In order to atone for her crimes, she cannot stop fighting for Izumono-kuni until she dies on the battlefield. "Scumbags who trample on love aren't worthy of living~"

Takanashi Mai　Mainly invest in Passive 2, Dual Blade Waltz, and secondarily in Passive 3, Elusive Shadows. Use the guaranteed-trigger defensive skill early in battle to preserve troops and stack DMG bonus effects, then unleash massive DMG in the mid-to-late game to finish off the opponent. A reasonable allocation between ATK and COM skill points is very important for Takanashi Mai's early survival; if truly needed, she can also be paired with survival-oriented troop types to resist DMG.

Claire　Mainly invest in Passive 1, Electromagnetic Wall, and secondarily in Passive 2, Prismatic Field. Use the Bless effect to share the DMG taken by Takanashi Mai and Ellie, while also boosting the whole team's PDEF and MDEF to resist AoE DMG.

Ellie　Mainly invest in Passive 1, Healing Brew, and secondarily in Passive 2, Vital Sprout, ensuring the most injured troop on our side receives a large amount of Recovery, while using the powerful sustained healing effect to keep the legion in a healthy state.
