Intro

Once a snake yokai of the deep mountains of Izumono-kuni, Mashiro was revered as a guardian beast after she happened to protect the villagers—though she's really more like the village's mascot. Now she descends upon Orisries! Join Lucia now to learn more about this Hero~

Mashiro was originally a snake yokai who spent years inhabiting a mountain in Izumo. It was only after she fended off a Monster Tide invading her territory—inadvertently protecting humans in the process—that her existence became known, leading the people to revere and care for her as a guardian animal. At first, she wondered why humans kept offering her food, but pleased with having meals provided, she gladly accepted the offerings and formed a bond with them. Over the following century, Mashiro lived alongside the people as their guardian, experiencing a life vastly different from her solitary past in the mountains. To the locals, rather than a revered guardian, she is more like a village mascot cherished by everyone. To truly protect the humans she holds dear, Mashiro leaves the village and sets out to find a way to stop the Monster Tides. "Ah, it's a bit chilly today... Perfect to coil up on a rock under the sun..."

Lucia：This skill shares the same structure as Auspicious Scales—it likewise stacks White Snake's Wrath whenever she takes a basic attack, dealing Magic DMG to the enemy in the process. Once the stacks reach 10, she can land an extra hit on an enemy target. This lets Mashiro steadily build up damage output even as she's taking attacks, creating a dual effect of defense and counter-offense at once.

The snake is like a charm forged from Mashiro's own power, capable of protecting its possessor from all impurities. Yet rather than a simple charm, it acts more like a sentient miniature clone of Mashiro. Outside of battle, it serves as the area's pocket assistant—helping deliver letters, repel pests, catch mice, keep its owner company, act as a light source, guide the way, and more. However, since making it is difficult and physically draining, Mashiro cannot mass-produce the amulet, making it an extremely rare item. Having created it simply out of a desire to help, Mashiro is now thoroughly baffled at the pile of gold she received, the likes of which she has never seen in her whole life as a snake.

Then, starting from turn 6, she unleashes a string of Physical attacks for a massive burst of damage with her Dual Blade Waltz, then keeps landing follow-up hits in the turns after that.

Mashiro　Auspicious Scales > Guardian's Vow By taking basic attacks to stack White Snake's Blessing, Mashiro keeps healing 1 of own troops, and once the stacks reach 10, the healing expands to the whole team. Paired with the Provoke effect and damage reduction from Guardian's Vow, this lets Mashiro consistently soak up the enemy's firepower and hold up the team's HP, staying steady even as the fight drags on.

Unyouhime　Purifying Haze > Spiritual Flow Unyouhime continuously lowers the damage her own troops take while stacking up an HP Recovery effect bonus. Since Takanashi Mai and Mashiro are both Heroes from Izumono-kuni, their basic attacks further raise the activation chance of these two skills, letting the rhythm of damage reduction and healing grow steadier as the battle goes on.
